“The Daily Show” showcased a sharp critique of conservative hypocrisy — when it comes to billionaire Elon Musk — for its latest scathing supercut.

The Comedy Central program juxtaposed conservatives’ fierce criticism of billionaire George Soros, who is often vilified by the right for his funding of liberal causes, with footage of the world’s richest person, Musk, whom President Donald Trump has tasked with slashing public spending and gutting the government.

It highlighted the stark double standard as conservative figures on Fox News and Newsmax ranted about threats to democracy and more.

“Conservatives warning about George Soros but make the footage Elon Musk,” the show titled the video it shared online Tuesday.

The montage concluded with a biting twist, though, with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly remarking, “If some kooky far-right person were giving this kind of money to Republicans, it would be front-page news, and CNN would cover it 24/7.”
